The annual competition “The Best City, District, Town, Village, Settlement, and Residential Building of 2024” took place in the Sughd region of Tajikistan.

This competition has become an important event aimed at increasing improvements, the quality of life, as well as attracting investments, and attention to the cultural traditions of the regions.

Khujand took first place in the “Best City” category, followed by Istaravshan and Konibodom.

Asht, Bobojon Gafurov, and Spitamen were recognized as the best districts. Gafurov won among the villages, Gonchi (Devashtich) came in second, and Zafarobod took third place. Ravgangaron (Istaravshan) was recognized as the best village, and Kurgoncha (Jabborr Rasulov district) and Metar (Spitamen district) also received awards. The best neighborhood title was awarded to Azizobod in Penjikent, and the best house was recognized as the house of Saifullo Khabibulloev in Khujand.
