On January 7, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Russia Davlatshoh Gulmahmadzoda and the Director of the International Tourism Exhibition MITT Maxim Shilov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed strengthening cooperation in the field of tourism between the two countries, including the participation of the Tajik delegation in the International Tourism Exhibition MITT, which will be held between March 18-20, 2025.

In recent years, Tajikistan has been focusing on the development of its tourism opportunities. In his Address to the Supreme Assembly, President Emomali Rahmon noted the development of the tourism sector as one of the priority areas of the government’s economic policy.

The participation of Tajik travel companies in Moscow can be assessed as an important and timely step in this direction.
