He noted that through border checkpoints on the territory of the city of Dushanbe, that is, only through border checkpoints at the Dushanbe International Airport and on the Tajik Railway, as of December 20, 2024, 247,440 people arrived in the city of Dushanbe as tourists, which is 18,283 people, or 13.5% more than in the same period in 2023.

Dilshodi Jamshed also informed that today in Dushanbe there is an international airport, railway stations, 50 multi-level hotels, 118 restaurants, 4 national teahouses, 39 entertainment centers, 27 markets, 125 shopping centers, 30 souvenir shops, 4 squares for cultural events, 17 parks of culture and recreation, a zoo, 44 recreational ​​squares, 5 lakes for swimming and recreation, 67 gyms, 210 beauty salons and 198 hairdressers, 4 palaces of culture, 7 professional theaters, 11 museums, 17 libraries, 6 amphitheaters, 23 archaeological, monumental and architectural monuments, 94 travel companies, 38 fountains, 378 children’s sports and playgrounds, 306 medical and prophylaxis institutions, 77 craft workshops, the Tennis Palace and the Water Sports Complex and the Istiklol Complex, which serve domestic and foreign guests every day.
