On December 4, 2023, in Kasane, Republic of Botswana 18th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage with participation of the representatives of UNESCO member states was launched. Representatives of state parties to the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage participating in the session, which will continue its work until December 9, 2023.

6 December during the session Tajikistan`s joint nomination with Islamic Republic of Iran “Sada Holiday” was inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
