On 14.09.2023, the meeting of the first deputy chairman of the Tourism Development Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan with the adviser on political issues of the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa in the Republic of Tajikistan (with residence in the city of Astana, Kazakhstan) Peace Kennedy was held.

During the meeting, the parties considered the tourism industry as a priority area of national economic development, and discussed issues of assistance in attracting capital, development of tourist infrastructure, development of cultural tourism, and effective use of experiences in promoting the country’s tourism industry.
