On September 16, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustam Emomali, inaugurated the 5-star hotel “Crowne Plaza Dushanbe” with a large shopping center in the Sino district of Dushanbe.
It was reported that this large multifunctional center consists of two buildings and includes a 20-story hotel and an 18-story shopping center.
We would like to remind that on September 4, 2019, the President of the country, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, officially launched the construction of a high-rise multifunctional building by laying the foundation stone in one of the most picturesque areas of the capital – Nizomi Ganjavi Street in the Sino district on the banks of the Luchob River.
During the tour of the facilities and services at this modern facility, the Head of State Emomali Rahmon was informed that the 5-star Crowne Plaza Dushanbe hotel consists of 124 rooms, including 1 room on the 15th floor for a high-ranking guest with an area of 260 square meters, 34 suites, 30 semi-suites, and 59 standard rooms.
In total, the hotel can accommodate 150 guests at a time.
After the construction of this facility, 150 local specialists gained permanent jobs. It is possible to employ 200 people at the hotel.
Most of the workers have specialties in service and hospitality and know several foreign languages. The high level of knowledge and preparation of the staff allows for high-quality service to be provided to customers.
It is worth noting that during the construction work, 400 local residents were provided with temporary jobs and good salaries.
According to the project, the total area of the multifunctional building is 1.18 hectares, and the customer and designer is the Limited Liability Company “Elit-Stroy-Service”. The design work was completed with the involvement of foreign specialists.
Domestic entrepreneurs signed a contract with the Intercontinental Hotels Group of London under the “Crowne Plaza” brand for a period of 20 years from July 1, 2023.
The hotel was built taking into account national and modern urban planning elements. The interior of the building, bedrooms, corridors and reception areas are decorated with high taste and using high architectural art, making the facility beautiful and attractive.
Inside the multifunctional building, there are service and entertainment centers, office rooms, 3 restaurants, a hall for official banquets with 150 seats, 3 cafes, a beauty salon, a swimming pool, a gym, a cinema, etc.
On the second floor, conference halls are named after the beautiful names of the administrative centers of the country’s cities, as well as a venue for high-level meetings.
In the two-story basement of the hotel building, an underground parking lot for 100 vehicles and other technical support rooms have been built.
The magnificent structure was built by domestic entrepreneurs as part of the construction and creative measures to celebrate the glorious national holiday – the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, with the support of the leadership of the Executive Body of State Power of the city of Dushanbe.
During the tour of the hotel, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the work style of the architects, the quality of construction work and the created conditions, and considered the construction of such a facility important in today’s conditions, as the number of tourists visiting our country is increasing year by year.
The large shopping center, which consists of 18 floors, has modern working conditions for a wide range of businesses. In particular, the administrative offices of companies are located on floors 1 to 8, and other office rooms are located on floors 9 to 18. After the opening of the shopping center, 100 permanent jobs were created here.
This facility was built within the framework of the general plan of the city of Dushanbe, and during the design work, all modern urban infrastructure was taken into account.
With the construction and commissioning of this high-rise facility, along with the creation of decent service conditions, it also added a new beauty to the capital of the country.
The beautiful promenade in front of the hotel adds another beauty to the facility, making this place especially charming and attractive in the evenings. Its territory is decorated with colored lights, creating the necessary conditions for customers to walk and relax in the fresh air.
