On August 5, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the heads of state participating in the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries in the city of Avaza, Turkmenistan, visited the Exhibition of Industrial, Agricultural Goods, National Cuisine and Folk Crafts of Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan.
The event hosted exhibition stands of Tajikistan, where a large amount of goods from the country’s industrial enterprises, national cuisine, agricultural products and folk crafts was presented.
At the Exhibition of National Cuisine and Folk Crafts of Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan, the heads of state and other guests showed great interest in the Tajikistan exhibition corner.
The pavilion of Tajikistan was organized at a high level, demonstrating that Tajikistan is a land of gold, a homeland of fresh and clear waters, and hardworking and industrious people.
During the acquaintance with the corner of national cuisine at the exhibition of Tajikistan, the heads of state gave due recognition to the high skill of chefs and the products of the Tajik peasants.
It should be noted that the Tajik nation has been famous throughout history for its customs, traditions and national cuisine, and to this day it preserves all this and presents it to the world.
In the corner of industrial goods, products of sewing, light industry, jewelry, aluminum, thirst-quenching drinks, painting products, decorative stones, etc. were presented.
It is worth noting that the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has set the fourth strategic goal for the development of the industry and the private sector to achieve rapid industrialization of the country. As a result, hundreds of factories and manufacturing enterprises were established by domestic entrepreneurs in a short period of time, attracting domestic and foreign capital.
Today, factories and manufacturing enterprises of the Republic of Tajikistan have become competitive in the regional and global markets with the quality of their products and are gaining increasing popularity. At the exhibition, along with other countries, factories and manufacturing enterprises of Tajikistan were able to present products that meet the market and the requirements of world standards.
During the presentation of the Tajik exhibition corner, the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan highly appreciated the potential and opportunities for the development of the industrial sector in Tajikistan.
After visiting the exhibition, the Heads of State participated in a cultural program of artists from Central Asia and Azerbaijan.
At this cultural event, Tajikistan was presented with an interesting concert program by masters of Tajik art, singers, musicians and graceful dancers of the country’s ensembles.
